How to make the difference between a braid and a rope?
- A braid is made of strands which cross among them. Instead of 3 strands, our machines operate with 8, 12, 16 or 24 strands according to the same principle.

- A rope is made of 3 or 4 thick strands gathered in parallel and twisted in one direction and themselves made of several strands and twisted in the opposite direction. >> It is the inversion of these two directions of torsion that forms the rope as we know it.
